Yes. Dry bounce houses go on concrete, pavers, brick, and asphalt with no problem at all. We do it almost every weekend across Tampa Bay, especially in South Tampa, St. Pete, and the zero-lot-line subdivisions where the backyard is half-paved. Wet water slides are the one exception — they need grass for drainage and a soft fall zone. And Tampa summer heat changes a few of the rules a grass setup doesn't have to deal with. How Anchoring Changes on Concrete On grass, we drive 30 to 40 inch steel stakes into the ground, four per anchor point. Concrete won't take a stake, so we switch to sandbags. Standard setup is 50-pound sandbags, one per corner minimum, with extras on larger units. The bags have D-rings or grommets and clip to the same anchor points the stakes would use on grass.
